Named accountable GP for all patients

From the 1st of April 2015, the practice is required under the terms of their GP contract to allocate a named accountable GP to all patient (including children). The named GP will be responsible for the patients’ overall care at the practice. It is important to note that you will still be able to make your appointment with any GP at the practice.

Last year a named GP was allocated for patients aged 75 and over and if you are in this age group your named GP will remain the same.

For patients under 75 your named GP will be allocated as follows:

A-M – Dr Kotekar  N-Z – Dr Hussain

Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the practice.

You do not need to take any further action, but if you have any questions, or wish to discuss this further with us please ask reception when you are next at the surgery. If you have a preference as to which GP you are assigned we will do our best to accommodate your request.
