Changes to GP appointment booking
You may have seen that there is a change to how GP surgeries will be booking appointments in future. If we are unable to offer you an appointment within the next 2 weeks, we will offer you an assessment and signpost you to an appropriate medical service. This could be advice to call 111 or attend a pharmacy for the treatment of certain conditions.
Reception staff will need to ask for some information to enable them to offer you the best advice. Staff have all signed a confidentiality agreement and any information you give them will be treated in strictest confidence.
